By accessing or using the LPOAC website and grant portal ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Grant Portal Use

The LPOAC grant portal is provided exclusively for:

• Submitting grant applications for LPOAC funding
• Tracking the status of submitted applications
• Communicating with LPOAC staff regarding applications
• LPOAC staff reviewing, scoring, and managing applications

Any other use of the portal is prohibited without prior written consent from LPOAC.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify LPOAC immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. LPOAC is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Accuracy of Information

By submitting a grant application, you certify that all information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful. Submission of false or misleading information may result in immediate disqualification, revocation of any awarded grant, and potential legal action.

5. Grant Terms & Conditions

If awarded a grant, recipients agree to:

• Use grant funds solely for the purpose stated in the approved application
• Use funds exclusively for low-cost pet sterilizations performed by licensed veterinarians
• Submit a final report upon completion of the funded project
• Allow LPOAC to use program outcomes for reporting and promotional purposes
• Return any unused funds to LPOAC upon request
• Maintain records of expenditures for a minimum of three years

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the LPOAC website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of LPOAC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

LPOAC provides the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind. LPOAC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. LPOAC's total liability shall not exceed the amount of any grant awarded to you.

8. Termination

LPOAC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms of Use or for any other reason at LPOAC's sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Orleans Parish, Louisiana.

10. Changes to Terms

LPOAC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
