I. Any Louisiana nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. II. Any veterinarian or veterinary hospital licensed in Louisiana. Grants are distributed solely for providing low-cost pet sterilizations by licensed veterinarians.

You must be a Louisiana 501(c)(3) nonprofit OR a veterinarian/veterinary hospital licensed in Louisiana.
Gather your 501(c)(3) letter, articles of incorporation, most current fiscal report, and board of directors list.
Create an account and apply online through our grant portal during the open application window.
Approved organizations receive grant funds to provide low-cost pet sterilizations by licensed veterinarians.
Organizations funded by LPOAC grants
Providing subsidized spay/neuter vouchers to ALICE families and other low-income caregivers in Lafayette Parish.
Providing $50 vouchers to pet owners and community cat trappers that are low income or 65+ years old.
Funding feline and canine spay/neuter surgery vouchers for low-income residents across St. Tammany, Washington, Livingston, and surrounding parishes.
Weekly spay/neuter days for individuals on government assistance, disabled veterans, and college students receiving need-based financial aid.
Providing free TNR services to community cats in New Orleans, with no cat turned away regardless of ability to pay.
Free spay/neuter surgeries and rabies vaccinations for low-income Louisiana residents through their income-based SSNIP program.
